5 Tablets Which Deserve Your Attention

By Rizwan Ahmad - 07 August 2013 No Comments
Most of the technological experts consider tablets as a 'not-so-useful gadget' claiming that you cannot use it for any serious work. Well, here we offer you 5 tablets which can make you change your mind on the topic.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
We might as well consider Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 as iPad's biggest concurrent on the market. The device offers a 10'' display and Android 3.1 operating system. Honeycomb, created only for tablets. Honeycomb is still very young and it has a few problems. The biggest of them is , unfortunately, the little amount of applications, suitable for tablets. It is a great device, though it will take some time to be absolutely completed.

iPad
As a whole, the original version of iPad is an excellent choice and it is an interesting fact, that all applications, which are made for the new version, are suitable for the original one too. Just like iPhone, iPad offers its customers a variety of applications in order to satisfy their needs. Although, it may not be a good solution for people, who need to work with a file system. For example, Asus Eee Pad Transformer and Archos 101 can communicate with standard USB accessories like hard disk devices. So you should buy iPad 2? Its processor is 2-core Apple A5, it has two cameras and has extremely elegant and fancy Smart Covers. You can use it to create music; for design or for entertainment.

ASUS Eee Pad Transformer
This is definitely the most interesting suggestion in our list.  You can either use it as a standard 10'' tablet with Android Honeycomb, or you can use a special accessory and turn it into a substitute of a netbook. This not only adds a keyboard and a trackpad to your tablet, but also prolongs the life of its battery. This is the perfect solution for people, who are ready to use a device with a completely touchscreen display, but also are admirers of the traditional keyboard and the mouse. It is a very good example of the revolution of tablets all over the world.

HP TouchPad
This is HP's first tablet with WebOS. It is one of the latest software platforms , which offers s great interface and a variety of interesting work paradigms, based on gestures, as well as  the Synergy function, which unites all accounts  in online services. It is very functional device and it allows you to share information with other WebOS devices by a single touch.

Archos 101
This device is both affordable and functional. Its main problem is that it uses Android 2.2, which is created for smaller displays and the interface seems a bit enlarged. But if you manage to get used to this, you can find Archos 101 quite useful.

This tablet is not officially approved by Google, and because of that it cannot offer you the standard Google apps.  So, if you insist on having them, you can simply try to download and install them, which is a surprise since Google doesn't want you to have free apps. So, in short, if you can afford the other four tablets, Archos 101 will not  be appropriate for you. But if you don't want to spend a lot of money on a new tablet – this is the perfect choice.
