Back in August, Motorola announced that it would begin rolling out the Android 9.0 Pie update for many of its Moto devices, including the Moto Z3. While the company recently pushed out the Android 9 Pie update for the Motorola One Power smartphone in India, it looks like the company soon going to roll out the Android 9 Pie update to its Moto Z3 device.
As first spotted by folks at droidshout, the Moto Z3 has been certified by Bluetooth SIG running on Android 9.0 Pie which suggests that the update is rolling out soon for Moto Z3 device. The certification of the device shows that Android 9 Pie update is not far away for users have waited for a long time.
The certification site shows the update to come with software version PDX29.40. Since this would be a major update for the Moto Z3 device, we advise users to wait for a title longer, because the update it may take several weeks for the rollout to be completed.
Motorola is also expected to bring the Android 9.0 Pie update other Moto devices including Motorola One, Moto Z3 Play, Moto Z2 Force Edition, Moto Z2 Play, Moto X4, Moto G6 Plus, Moto G6, and the Moto G6 Play.
