Top Apps For Android, IPhone, Blackberry, And Windows
Part of the smart phone experience is the availability of applications. Most users are on pay monthly phone deals that include a large data allowance so they do not need to limit their phone use. These apps provide the opportunity to streamline experience and enhance the functionality of one’s phone. Applications can do just about anything. On Android, there are already 700,000 apps. On iPhone, there are even more. Blackberry and Windows are looking to increase their numbers too. So, here is a list of some of my favorite apps.

Tube Map.
When you get to London, it can be a real hassle trying to find your way around the tube. This simple application will give you live updates of delays on the tube and provide you with an interactive map so you can plan your journey without any hassle at all. No more asking for people to help you or getting stuck on the Central Line amidst lengthy engineering works delays.

Twitter
Having Twitter available on your phone is an essential component of many people’s phone experience. Being able to see live updates of friends, celebrities, and those you follow, and also being in touch with what’s happening around the world really gives one a sense that they are living in the moment. Hooray for Twitter.

Facebook
Facebook has hundreds of millions of users. You go into an internet café, or workplace, or anyone’s home, and chances are, you will find people Facebooking. The phenomenon has taken hold of the imagination of much of the world. This application gives you the opportunity to connect and share and stay in touch with the latest happenings in the lives of your friends. The platform is brought to the phone environment so that it is maximally usable and fun.

TuneIn Radio
This application provides you with the ability to tap in to over 70,000 radio stations around the globe. It also provides access to over 2 million podcasts across a number of different categories including music, news, and sport. This can be a great way to kill some time and even learn something; heaven forbid…

BBC News
The breaking global and domestic news from the BBC is at your fingertips with this application. Staying in touch with the world events on the move is both interesting and educational. With the news seeming so bad all the time you will probably be reading about killings while you are killing time.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire 2012 HD
This application provides you with an opportunity to jump in to the hot seat and attempt to answer the increasing database of questions. With 500+ questions, you can ladder your way to a fortune, albeit a pretend fortune.

So there you have it, some of my favorite apps that always go on my phones. They are available across different operating systems and can really help pass the time and keep you in touch with what’s going on.
