The entry-level smartphones from Chinese manufacture the Infinix Smart 2 recently got some price cut in India via Flipkart and its current selling at just Rs. 4,999 for the 2GB RAM and 64GB storage. However, the Infinix Smart 2 was launched running Android Oreo 8.1.0, and now the device is getting a major software update. The company has now started rolling out the latest Android 9 pie update for the Infinix Smart 2 users in India.
The Android 9 Pie update for the Infinix Smart 2 smartphone seems quite surprising. There are several other mid-range smartphones from some big OME’s which haven’t yet received the Android 9 Pie update. Even there are devices from Infinix own brand like the Infinix Zero 5 which haven’t even been updated to the Android Oreo yet.
Infinix Smart 2 current selling at just Rs. 4,999 via Flipkart in India. The device is an entry -level smartphone which is available in 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB/32 internal storage. It is powered by a MTK6739 64 bit Quad Core processor and runs on Infinix own XOS 3.3.0 Hummingbird OS.
The device packs a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. The smartphone comes with a 3,050 Li-ion Polymer Battery.
