Realme today on Wednesday finally launched its new smartphone the Realme X in China. The new Realme X is also the first Realme phone that comes with a pop-up camera module. Alongside, Realme also launched two other variants dubbed as Realme X Youth Edition and Realme X Master Edition. The key highlight of the Realme X Master Edition is that the device comes with a unique Onion and White Garlic gradient colors, pop-camera and it also has the signature of the form Design Master, Naoto Naoto.

While the key highlights for the Realme X and the Youth Edition include a pop-up camera on the Realme X and the Notch which you will find on the Realme X Youth Edition. Now let’s check out the specifications of the three phones.

The Realme X Specifications

Now the first talk about the Realme X, The Realme X features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED full-screen display with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. The phone has a high screen-to-body ratio of 91.2 percent and is protected by 5th generation Gorilla Glass. It comes powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset coupled with 4GB+64GB, 6GB+64GB, and 8GB+128GB RAM and storage.

On the camera front, the Realme X sports an AI dual rear camera setup with 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 main sensor and 5-megapixel as secondary sensors along with an LED flash. Most notably, it comes with a 16-megapixel pop-up selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.

On the software side, the Realme X runs on Android 9 Pie operating system based on ColorOS 6.0 UI. The phone comes with 3,765mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 support and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone also features OPPO’s new AI assistant Breeno along with USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. It will be available in White and Punk Blue color options.

Realme X Youth Edition

Realme X Youth Edition a slightly smaller 6.3-inch full HD+ display with a waterdrop notch. The phone is powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor coupled with 4GB+64GB, 6GB+64GB, and 6GB+128GB RAM and storage. The phone features a fingerprint sensor at the back.

Realme X Youth Edition

In the camera department, the Realme X Youth Edition comes with a dual rear camera setup with a 16-megapixel Sony IMX519 sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a secondary 5-megapixel sensor. Up front, the phone has a 25-megapixel selfie camera.

Realme X Youth Edition runs ColorOS 6.0 based Android 9 Pie operating system and is backed up by a 4045mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 support. The phone also features Hyper Boost 2.0, which is meant to provide improved gaming on the device. The phone comes in Nitrogen blue and Electro-optic Violet color options. It will be available in Nitrogen blue and Electro-optic Violet color options.

Realme X Master Edition

Lastly, we have the Realme X Master Edition, in terms of specifications, the Realme X Master Edition is almost identical to Realme X and features the same specs out of the box. The only difference you will find is the unique Onion and White Garlic gradient color and the signature at its back from Design Master, Naoto Naoto. The Realme X Master Edition is designed by Design Master, Naoto Naoto in collaboration with the Realme.

The Realme X with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage is priced at Yuan 1499, the 6GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage you have to pay Yuan 1499, while 8GB RAM of RAM with 128GB of internal storage will cost Yuan 1799.

On the other hand, the Realme X Youth Edition is priced at Yuan 1199 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage, the 6GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage one has to pay Yuan 1299, while 6GB RAM of RAM with 128GB of internal storage will cost Yuan 1499.

Last but not the least, the Realme X Master Edition is priced at Yuan 1,899 for the only 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The Realme X is currently launched in China but it will soon be available in India too. CEO of Realme Madhav Sheth today confirmed that the Realme X will be coming soon to India, however, he didn’t reveal the exact date.
