Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 SoC to Bring True 10-bit HDR and a 90fps Mode Support for PUBG Mobile

During the announcement of its next-gen flagship Snapdragon 865 SoC at its ongoing Snapdragon Tech Summit 2019 in Hawaii. Qualcomm also made a big announcement that will bring the PUBG Mobile gameplay experience to the next level. Qualcomm on the second day of its Tech Summit announced that PUBG Mobile will soon get support for true 10-bit HDR and a 90fps mode.

Notably, the new Snapdragon 865 chip is said to not only bring an improved performance but also brings support for 5G, 200MP cameras, and 144Hz displays. The new Snapdragon 865 chip will allow PUBG Mobile players to experience a higher refresh rate on a smartphone with 90Hz displays.

The new chip will allow players to push the fps rate all up to 90fps in-game bringing more fluid PUBG Mobile gaming experience as never before.

The newly announced Snapdragon 865 chip is also said to bring support for 10-bit HDR gaming that will further push the graphics of the PUBG Mobile. The current HDR mode can be found under PUBG Mobile’s settings tab which can be enabled for further improve the PUBG Mobile experience.

The new Snapdragon 865 will certainly step over the current flagship Snapdragon 855 SoC in terms of getting more powerful for SoC for gaming. The newly announced chip will power some of the most powerful smartphones in the upcoming year 2020.
