Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 was launched last year in May running on the Android 9 Pie, based on EMUI 9.0. Now, the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 has started receiving the latest Android 10 based on EMUI 10 update. The new Android 10 update is rolling out in India. As per the official Huawei forum post, the latest Android 10 update for the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 started rolling out on January 3.
The page states that the Android 10 update for the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 weighs at around 3.49 GB in size and bring the latest build number 10.0.0.159(C675E2R4P2). Huawei recommends you to make sure that your phone has 60% or above charge before downloading and instaling the update.

The one bad thing about this update is that it doesn’t bring the latest January 2020 security patch. Instead, it brings the November security patch 2019.
