A couple of key specifications of Xiaomi’s upcoming Black Shark 3 gaming smartphone have been officially confirmed ahead of its official launch on March 3. According to official promo posters and video shared by Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun and Black Shark’s official Weibo account. The Black Shark 3 will come featuring two dedicated Physical buttons to play games.
The Physical buttons on the Black Shark 3 will also be configurable allowing you to configure them according to your gaming need. The phone further has been confirmed to be powered by Snapdragon 865 SoC with 5G support.
For smooth and cool gaming experience the Black Shark 3 will also come next generation of liquid cooling system to keep the phone temperature down while heavy gaming. The upcoming Black Shark 3 will boast a 4720mAh battery that will support 65W fast charging over a Magnetic wired charger.

The phone will also come with a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone has also been confirmed to come with a 90Hz display with 270Hz touch sampling rate, UFS 3.0 storage, LPDDR5 RAM and Adreno 650 GPU. The phone may also available with 12GB RAM and 512GB onboard storage.
The company, however, hasn’t yet shared any details on the pricing and availability of the Black Shark 3.
