LG today launched its new flagship device the V60 ThinQ 5G. The new V60 ThinQ 5G comes as the sixth handset in LG’s V series of phones. The new device comes as the successor to the V50 ThinQ with upgraded specifications, hardware and of course the 5G support. The phone looks quite similar to previously launched models of V series.

V60 ThinQ 5G as its main highlight comes with 5G support that includes the X55 modem with the mmWave and sub-6GHz. The LG V60 ThinQ 5G features a 6.8-inch FHD+ OLED display with a waterdrop notch housing the front camera. The display also has the inbuilt fingerprint reader, protected with Gorilla Glass 5 protection and IP68 dust and water-resistant as well as MIL-STD 810G compliant.

The phone also features an upgraded 6.8-inch secondary display with FHD+ OLED panel and a ‘360 Freestop Hinge’. There is also a 2.1-inch always-on functionality Cover Display to show the notification.

The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s latest 5G enabled Snapdragon 865 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage which is also expandable via the microSD slot. The LG V60 ThinQ 5G comes with Android 10 out of the box with LG’s UX 9.0 skin on top.

The phone also has a dedicated Google Assistant button on the left-hand side. The phone comes with a 5,000 mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 4+ as well as wireless charging. The phone comes with design finished with metal and glass for a premium feel in the hand.

The Camera

The V60 ThinQ 5G sports a  64-megapixel 1/1.7-inch main sensor with OIS and a 13-megapixel ultrawide camera with a 117-degree field of view. there is also a third ToF sensor at the rear.

However, LG hasan’t revaeled the price for the LG V60 ThinQ 5GG but have said that the device will become available in key markets of North America, Europe and Asia starting next month.
