Total War: Shogun 2, one of the very popular strategy game from Sega will be free to download and keep forever starting next week on Steam. Today, Total War via its official blog post announced that to keep everyone stay safe at their home while giving them an additional option to kill some time, Shogun 2 will be made available for free to download and keep forever.
You will be able to download Shogun 2 for free starting this Monday on the 27th of April 2020 from 18:00 BST until Friday the 1st of May 2020 at 18:00 BST. In addition, Sega will also be giving away up to 75% of discounts on Shogun 2 and some of its other “selected historical Total War games and DLC,” as part of the Total War sale.
Notably, the Total War sale will kick-off after the end of the Total War: SHOGUN 2 free-to-keep giveaway (after 18:00 BST on Friday the 1st of May 2020).
Please do note, that the Total War sale won’t include Total War: Three Kingdoms or the Rome: Total War main games and DLC and also The Total War: Warhammer games.
