Insurgency: Sandstorm on PC has just received a new update 1.6.3. According to the patch notes the latest Insurgency 1.6.3 update fixes some high profile issues in the video game including Smoke visibility issues, Smoke disappearing issues, and more.
The latest update for the game also bring a number of bugs addressing an issue with bot spawning and navigation on Precinct in Checkpoint Security and Checkpoint Insurgents. - Fixed an issue where smoke particles could be removed from the screen prematurely if there were a large number of other particles being rendered
- Created a screen overlay for players who are in a smoke system to better block their vision more consistently
- Improved in-game download speeds from mod.io
- Implemented Epic’s suggested changes for PhysX code to address collision issues on Linux servers running custom maps
Notably, Insurgency: Sandstorm is currently available only on PC. But the game will be coming to Xbox One and PS4 on August 25, 2020. Xbox players can now also pre-order the game from the Microsoft store for 39.99. Pre-order for the PS4 is likely to start soon via the PlayStation store.
