Modder ‘Negate The Stars’ at Nexus Mod has released a new game mod for the Doom Eternal that will allow you to take long jumps in the game. The new node is called rocket jumping and it’s now available to download and try out for the Doom Eternal game. According to Negate, the new rocket jumping mod works with Doom Eternal version 1.1 and it comes with 3 variations.
- Full damage.
- Half damage.
- No Damage.
The new rocket jumping mod seems pretty cool and interesting as it allows you to jump by shooting the rocket launcher at the ground. The technique basically works with an explosion when you shoot the rocket launcher. You can simply jump and shoot the rocket launcher at the ground to reach the highest level of distance from the ground.
The modern also notes that Doom Eternal comes with many invisible walls that may throw you out of bounds. Thus, the rocket jumping mod sets the “out of bounds” or “world damage” to zero, so you can jump anywhere in the game.
