The black edition of DualSense has not yet been officially announced. But indications from Taiwan indicate that there could be a relevant announcement in the foreseeable future.
A few days ago pictures of a Black Edition of the DualSense controller appeared on the Internet. After it was initially suspected that it was a fake, a certification that emerged in Taiwan makes it clear that it could actually be a product that will be available later on the shelves of retailers.
The documents show a DualSense controller in black colour from different perspectives. While the case is completely black, the buttons shine in a white-transparent look, as used in the original DualSense in the black and white version. The images shown appeared previously on Twitter and caused the speculations mentioned at the beginning.
In the documents of the certification, which at first glance seems legitimate, the originally presented model of the DualSense is also shown. It can be seen again from several perspectives including the dimensions. And the USB cable that is apparently supplied is also part of the illustrated presentation.
The Black Edition of the DualSense has not been officially announced so far, so today’s reference to the classic colour version should be taken as a rumour. After the unofficial publication of the pictures, many of the players don’t seem to be really enthusiastic anyway. Previous fan designs were more appealing.

The first step is the launch of the white PS5. This will come on the market towards the end of the year. Sony has not yet given an exact date. No information was given on its price either.
