For Conan Exiles a new expansion has been announced with Isle of Siptah. The launch is scheduled for early 2021 as a full release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Early Access on the PC will start in the coming week – more precisely on September 15, 2020.
In Conan Exiles: Isle of Siptah you start your journey with a new character on the eponymous island, on which a dozen new dungeons are distributed. You can expect hideous creatures and NPCs. There is also talk of an ominous dark tower surrounded by a magical storm.
“Isle of Siptah is a massive expansion to the open-world survival game Conan Exiles, featuring a vast new island to explore, huge and vile new creatures to slay, new building sets and a whole new gameplay cycle,” said the makers. “Shipwrecked and alone, you arrive at the mystical Isle of Siptah. With nothing but the scraps on your back, you craft the tools you need to survive. At first a simple camp and a crude stone axe, with time a fortress and brutal greatswords made from hardened steel or obsidian.”
The equipment of Isle of Siptah includes two new building sets, which offer you the opportunity to build pirate cities with floating debris and majestic castles with storm glass. For PC gamers only: Starting today, those interested can try Conan Exiles for free during the Stream Free Weekend until Monday, September 14th. In addition, the full version on the Valve platform is to be offered at 65% cheaper.
Funcom also used the opportunity in today’s press release to talk about the success of Conan Exiles to date. According to the company, the title has 10 million owners so far.
