After so many rumors here and there, at last, the technical specifications of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti are out. It has now been confirmed, much thanks to the manufacturer, Manli.
Manli confirmed that the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti contains a GPU that has a GA104-200 chip. The chip is made up of 4864 CUDA cores Ampere. Remember the GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER had 3027 CUDA Cores. The 4864 CUDA cores of GeForce RTX 3060 Ti will provide a performance of 16.2 TFLOPs with a base or boost frequency of 1410/1665 MHz.
Other main specifications of GeForce RTX 3060 Ti as confirmed by manufacturer Manli include;
- An 8 GB of GDDR6 memory at 14 GHz.
- This 8 GB memory coupled with a 256-bit memory interface provides a bandwidth of 448 GB/s.
- A final power consumption of 200W.
GeForce RTX 3060 Ti comes with the factory frequencies and a double fan configuration. In the double fan configuration, the back-plate is semi-open allowing air that moves to the 2nd fan to pass via the radiator and find its way out of the GPU through the rear. With this, the heat is expelled to the outside of the chassis through the CPU cooler over the air.
There are two PCI slots occupied by the GPU. 2 x 8+8 pin PCI-Express connectors power the GPU providing 4 video outputs; 3 x DisplayPort and 1 x HDMI. The RTX 3060 Ti will officially be launched on December 2. Its retail price is $399.
