Xiaomi Yesterday launched Xiaomi Mi 11 in China powered with Qualcomm’s newly announced Snapdragon 888 SoC. Notably, Mi 11 is the first smartphone to come with Snapdragon 888 SoC that has been launched by Xiaomi. There are several other OME’s who are widely expected to launch their upcoming smartphones in 2021 powered by the newest Snapdragon 888 SoC.

Now, let’s talk about the new Mi 11 by Xiaomi, the device as its biggest highlights come with of course the latest Snapdragon 888 SoC, but there are a couple of new specs and features that would find in the new Mi 11.

Let’s first talk about the display, the new Mi 11 comes with a 6.81-inch 2K WQHD (1,440×3,200 pixels) AMOLED Quad curved OLED display, which is the best display on a smartphone ever. Check out the main display features below.

Talking about the SoC, the Mi 11 comes with Snapdragon 888 SoC, coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone runs on the latest Android 11 out of the box.

On the camera front, the new Xiaomi Mi 11 sports a triple rear camera setup including a 108MP + 13MP Wide + 5MP Tele Macro, on the front, the Mi 11 has a 2MP selfie camera. Connectivity options included are 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, Infrared (IR), and a USB Type-C port. The phone also comes with Harman Kardon audio stereo speakers and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

For powering the device, there is a 4,600mAh battery that supports Mi TurboCharge 55W wired and 50W wireless charging. There is also 10W wireless reverse charging support.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Price and Availability

Xiaomi has launched the Mi 11 in China priced at CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs. 45,000) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model carries a price tag of CNY 4,299 (roughly Rs. 48,300). There is also a 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant that is priced at CNY 4,699 (roughly Rs. 52,800).

The phone is now available for pre-orders in China, with a sale planned for January 1. It will be available in anti-glare (AG) frost glass finish in Horizon Blue, Frost White, and Midnight Gray, colours. Notably, Xiaomi hasn’t provided any details on the Mi 11 global launch.
