Microsoft on Thursday released the brand new version of Windows 11 with tons of new features. The new Windows 11 looks so cool with all that new Snap layouts, new themes a whole new experiences, and much more. So, when its finally coming out and how would you be able to download the new Windows 11?
Windows 11 Release Date
Microsoft has said that the new Windows 11 OS will release soon in India and worldwide through a free upgrade for eligible Windows 10 PCs and on new PCs beginning this holiday.
How to Download Windows 11?
Windows 11 is now officially rolling out for eligible Windows 10 PCs worldwide. So, if you have been waiting to try out the latest Windows then you can download Windows 11 on your PC. Windows 11 update is not started rolling for all the eligible Windows 10 PCs. To check if the latest Windows 11 update is available to your PC you can follow the steps below.
- Go to Windows Settings
- Go to Update & Security and click Check for Update
If your PC is eligible and Windows 11 is available to download on your PC then you will see a message as shown in the image below.
- Now simply click the “Download and install” button to download the update.
Windows 11 32/64 Bit ISO file is now also available to download which you can download from here.
However, not every Windows PC will be eligible to get the free upgrade to Windows 11. So, how would you know if your PC is eligible to get the free upgrade? well, to check if your current Windows 10 PC is eligible for the free upgrade to Windows 11.
You can simply download the Windows PC Health Check app and after downloading the app run it and then click on the blue Check now button to start the checkup, see the image below.
The free upgrade to Windows 11 will begin to roll out to eligible Windows 10 PCs this holiday and continuing into 2022.
