PUBG Global Championship (PGC 2021) Tournament Date and Venue
The upcoming PUBG Global Championship (PGC 2021) tournament will take place in Korea on November 19.
Tournament Format
- In PGC 2021, 5 teams from CHINA will participate on-line.
- All other teams will be invited to participate in-person in Korea.
Both PGC arenas in Korea and China will be equipped with identical gaming setups to guarantee that teams have an equal environment to compete. In addition, both arenas will be supervised by PUBG Esports referees to ensure a fair and transparent tournament.
All teams who qualified for PGC 2021 and are traveling to Korea and will be safely quarantined, following national quarantine guidelines. They will remain in the isolation facility for the next two weeks until the tournament begins.
Update to the Participating Teams
- Unfortunately, team Unicorn Phoenix Da Nang from APAC region will not be able to participate in PGC 2021 due to difficulties in acquiring a visa.
- UNP’s ticket to participate in PGC 2021 has been transferred to the Vietnam team next in line, GAMEHOME Ha Dong.

Reserve Player Announcement
- Based on the player roaster submitted during PCS5, teams with 4 or less players are able to register a maximum of 1 additional player as a ' Reserve Player'
- Reserve Players cannot replace the empty player slot of those who have failed to acquire a visa.
- The Reserve Player is a substitute player for emergencies. Reserve players can only be utilized if an existing player is unable to participate in the match
- These cases may include;
- If a player is confirmed COVID-19 positive and needs to be isolated.
- If a player suffers from a physical injury making them unable to participate
- If officials rule that another reason is severe enough to warrant the swap
