Most gamers have been waiting for Lost Ark, a huge Action Role-Playing Multiplayer Online Game (MMO ARPG). Being a complex and thought-awakening game, the unique thing is its angles. The angles are not first-person, rather on top, similar to the game Diablo.
This game has been out for quite a long, but only in the Korean and Russian versions. The global launch has been out recently for the whole gaming community to enjoy. Being a somewhat complex game to learn and play, most of the starters will face difficulty getting used to the mechanism. Lost Ark Beginner’s Guide
Camera Angle:
You can’t change the angles in Lost Ark. It is referred to as an isometric camera and hence, you will find is different from the other MMO’s. Everything else is just like the other MOBA games like Guild Wars, WOW, and so on.
Sub-Classes in Class:
Well, the most fascinating thing about the game is its expansion. There are various classes to choose from in the game, around 5 which might sound a bit less in comparison to others. But, the unique thing here is that within these 5 classes, you will find the Sub-Classes, making a total of around 15 classes at the time of release.
This includes the new Sorceress class that was recently announced. The new Sorceress class will be available as a replacement for the previously included Summoner class in the game’s class line-up.
The Summoner class on the other will instead come to Arkesia at a later date.
Some of the Sorceress’ abilities include:
- Incinerate: Drop meteor fragments from the sky to inflict damage on enemies. A giant pillar then raises from the target area launching foes into the air and explodes dealing even more damage.
- Frost Explosion: Frost bursts from the body dealing damage and causing Chill Status, reducing attack and movement speed by 60%.
- Ice Arrow: Fire ice arrows, piercing foes and dealing damage. This also grants Chill status slowing target’s attack and movement speed by 60% for six seconds.
- Lightning Burst: Fire lightning to attack enemies. This grants Electrocution status, dealing additional damage.
Initial classes are the same as usual like mages, warriors, and so on. When you obtain a level of around ten, you will be able to choose the main class. In short, when you obtain the level and class of warrior, you can further pick gun lancer, berserker, or paladin afterward.
The problem here is that these picks are one-time and cannot be changed with the same profile afterward. If you want to change at some point in your journey, you will have to make a new profile and work on it.

Currencies:
Life Ark has around six different currencies for you to use in different scenarios. Below you will find these currencies and their use;
- Crystal and its Ore; this currency is mainly used to purchase the goods from the good old cash shop
- Mokoko Seed; through specific NPCs you will purchase goods if you have enough Mokoko seeds
- Lupeon Seal; from collectors and priests, you can purchase goods through the Lupeon Seal
- Gold; same as any other game, Gold is used to trade between players
- Silver; the basic type of currency through which you can get goods from the typical NPCs, not the special ones.
Life Skills:
Each of the characters you choose will further have the individual type of skill, referred to as life skills. Through these skills, you will increase and learn various things like hunting, fishing, mining, archeology, and even lumbering. To unlock them, you will have to work your way to the top, doing side missions and also story quests.
Max Level:
The difficulty of Lost Ark is mostly related to its leveling and you might be amazed to know that the game begins after you obtain level 50. Yes, you heard that right, through the beginning which is level 1 towards level 50, this game is mostly referred to as a tutorial. After you reach level 50, the real fun starts to begin
Story Quest:
Finally, the best pick for a starter is learning about the story quests. They are referred to as the key to getting the max out of the game. There are divisions amongst the quests and the most important or compulsory ones are referred to as the story quests. If you are mostly onto the side quests, which are not compulsory, then you won’t progress further into the story. It leads to you not being progressing and unlocking stuff.
It doesn’t mean you should never touch side quests, rather it means you should also focus on the main quests alongside your side quests. If you want to end the game quickly and reach the end, you can simply do the main quests, because you level up from them as well. Main quests are indicated with the orange color and you can also find them in your journal that indicated your quests.
