It looks like an Among Us VR version could be coming soon. Apparently, InnerSloth is planning to release the game on PlayStation VR, Steam, and MegaQuest. The developer has not revealed any plot details or game specs. However, it has been revealed that it will be coming to all three platforms. So, if you’ve been waiting for a VR game, now might be the time to get one.
A Steam database update seems to indicate that the VR version of Among Us could arrive by the end of the year. According to the leak details from the Steam database, Among Us VR could be released later this year on December 13, 2022.
About Among Us
Among Us is a space-themed game where players take on the roles of crew members and imposters. You play as crewmembers for tech company MIRA, while the imposters take over operations. In order to survive, you’ll need to repair wiring and empty the garbage while watching out for other Imposters. This will give you a unique skill set and allow you to prove your identity in the game.
Despite the fact that the VR version isn’t out yet, it might support up to four players and will follow a similar loop as the non-VR version. Schell Games is also developing the VR version of the game.
The studio has been behind other popular VR games like Until You Fall and I Expect You To Die, which were part of the PlayStation Plus lineup.
A Schell Games representative recently discussed the game’s VR port. Another studio that’s working on the game is Innersloth, which has developed other games like Until You Fall.
