Recently Xiaomi’s President and Co-founder Bin Lin showed off company’s first foldable smartphone. Earlier today we also saw the first promo video of Samsung’s first foldable Galaxy F smartphone. Now its Huawei’s turn, the company has now officially announced that it will launch its first foldable phone on February 24, 2019, at MWC 2019 event.

Huawei made the announcement via its official Twitter account today. Huawei posted a teaser poster giving us what we can say is a glimpse of its first Foldable smartphone. However, the Twitter post didn’t reveal any other details about the upcoming device.

Looks like there will be many foldable devices at the upcoming MWC event this month. Huwaei is yet to reveal what its upcoming foldable smartphone will hold under the hood, but it is expected that this would be the first 5G device from Huawei. It is also possible that Huawei could use its recently announced Balong 5000 5G chipset on its upcoming foldable device.
