While making the announcement of free Stadia games for May as part of the Stadia Pro subscription on its official Stadia website. One of Google Stadia employees today also announced that the long-awaited wireless Stadia Controller support will finally be available on laptop and desktop starting this week.
Stadia today officially announced that Stadia players with a Stadia controller will be able to play games connecting their Stadia Controller wirelessly on their Laptop and Desktop starting this week.
To recall, since its launch, Stadia Controller wireless play support was only available on TV using a Chromecast Ultra.”
Now, Stadia players will no longer need to connect their Stadia Controller physically to their computers or laptops to play their favorite games. Instead, they’ll now be able to link their Stadia Controller and Stadia.com through their Wi-Fi network and play without a USB-C cable connection.
Notably, Stadia Pro subscribers get free games every month and as part of this, Stadia Pro subscribers can now claim The Turing Test, Zombie Army 4: Dead War, SteamWorld Heist, and even PUBG for free on Stadia Pro.
Google Stadia is Free for Tow Months
If you don’t already know, Google has announced two months of free access to its Stadia Pro game streaming service. Notably, the Stadia Pro is currently available for free in 14 countries with instant access to nine free games, including GRID, Destiny 2: The Collection, Thumper, and all the above-mentioned games.
Also, during the free period of Stadia Pro, you can also purchase any individual games from Stadia Store with big discounts. It’s worth also noting here that the games you will purchase during the free period will remain yours even if you cancel the Stadia Pro subscription. Also, if you are already a Stadia Pro subscriber then you won’t be charged for the next two months.
