The launch of Cyberpunk 2077 is now a past event and known to practically everyone. The title of CD Projekt RED has amazed, negatively, and positively, practically every one of us.

Unfortunately, however, the defects, the errors, and the myriads of problems have taken over, so much so that the software house has to publicly admit its mistakes and to start a refund policy. From day one, however, the development house immediately started improving the game through patches and updates.

Two important ones will arrive during the month of January and February, while surprisingly; a new update has just been released that brings Cyberpunk 2077 to version 1.06.

The update has a file size of about 500 MB (PC) and obviously introduces a series of improvements that will make the final experience more enjoyable than in the past. One of all, the 8 MB limit of the save file which would have corrupted the file resulting in the loss of all save data has now been fixed.

We report the changelog that you can learn more about at the following link:

Quests

  • Dum Dum will no longer go missing from Totentanz entrance during Second Conflict.

Console-specific

  • Improved memory management and stability, resulting in fewer crashes.

PC-specific

  • Removed the 8 MB save file size limit. Note: this won’t fix save files corrupted before the update.

Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Google Stadia.
