Apple at its Spring 2021 event on Tuesday launched a new Purple colour variant for its iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini smartphone. According to to Apple CEO Tim Cook, rhe new colour has “elements of sophistication and brightness”. Apple at the event also launched the much-awaited AirTags trackers.
The new Purple colour variant of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini will be up for preorder starting this week on Friday, April 23 in 30 countries and will finally be available for purchase from April 30. Notably, the new new Purple colour variant will be joining the already available colour Black, Blue, Green, Red, and White colours of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini.
As for the price of the new Purple iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini, it starts at Rs. 79,900 for the iPhone 12 and Rs. 69,900 for the iPhone 12 mini, which is same as for the other colour variant.
Alongside, Apple at its spring event also launched the much-awaited AirTags trackers. The AirTags are priced at Rs. 3,190 for one and Rs. 10,900 for a four pack and there are also Hermes edition accessories that the AirTags can be carried in.
AirTags are priced at $29 for the single tile, and $99 for the 4-pack. The AirTags will go up for pre-orders from 5am PDT (5:30pm IST) on April 23 and for sale from April 30.
