OnePlus 10 Pro Review: Great Camera, Excellent Display and Fast Charging

This is our OnePlus 10 Pro review where we look at the new flagship phone from the Chinese company. The device’s 6.7-inch 2K screen is sharp and colorful and offers better battery life than the previous model. The camera is also very good but not a huge upgrade over last year’s model. Nonetheless, the phone’s price makes it a good buy for those looking for a premium smartphone. Here are some of its highlights and weaknesses.

OnePlus 10 Pro Review

The OnePlus 10 Pro has a standard Android phone design. It’s the same as the OnePlus 9 Pro, with a punch-hole camera and USB-C port. The phone also sports an alert slider that lets you toggle between vibrate and silent modes.

Dimensions

It measures 16.30cm in height, 7.39cm in Width and 0.855cm in thickness and weighs 200.5g. The OnePlus 10 Pro’s camera performs well in almost any situation, but it throttles the performance out of the box.

Performance

While it’s not the best phone for gaming, the OnePlus 10 Pro has top-tier hardware. It is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Mobile SoC with 5G support, along with four cores, is the fastest Android phone you can buy.

OnePlus 10 Pro RAM and Storage options includes:

  • RAM: 8GB/12GB LPDDR5
  • Storage: 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 2-LANE

The OnePlus 10 Pro comes with one of the most powerful 5,000mAh batteries in the market, with up to 80W SuperVooc wired charging and 50W AirVooc wireless charging.

The OnePlus 10 Pro’s camera is significantly better than last year’s model, and it takes great photos in difficult conditions. The OnePlus 10 has Android 12 base on OxygenOS and the software is stable and easy to use for most users. It is also free of bloatware.

Display

The OnePlus 10 Pro’s display is great for movies and TV. The 6.7-inch 120Hz Fluid AMOLED with LTPO 2.0 screen is very clear and vivid, with 1,300 nits of brightness. The phone supports 10-bit color, and it’s easy to adjust the color mode to suit your preferences. Despite its lack of T-Mobile’s IP rating, it doesn’t feel bulky.

Camera

The OnePlus 10 Pro has an excellent display, and the camera hardware is also very impressive. Its primary lens is 48MP that uses a Sony IMX789 sensor, which is cable of taking great images. There is also a 50MP Ultra-Wide Camera, an 8MP Telephoto Camera with dual LED flash lights. The phone has a 32MP front facing camera for taking selfies.

With the main camera on the phone you can record videos in the following quality.

  • 4K video at 30/60/120 FPS
  • 8K video at 24 FPS
  • 1080p video at 30/60 FPS
  • Super Slow Motion:1080p video at 240 fps, 720p video at 480 fps
  • Time-Lapse:1080p at 30fps, 4K at 30fps

OnePlus 10 Pro Colour Options

It comes in Volcanic Black and Emerald Forest colour options, and the camera module is a big plus.

The company’s marketing has focused on the camera module, and the result is a striking smartphone. It’s likely to take several weeks before this smartphone is recognized by the masses, but it will certainly be worth the wait. The OnePlus 10 Pro review is an essential guide for any OnePlus user, and the camera is the most important aspect of the phone.

The OnePlus 10 Pro is not as streamlined as the Oppo 9 Pro, and it is difficult to find features that you need on a smartphone. This is a good flagship phone at a price of Rs. 66,999 INR ($899)for those looking for an affordable flagship smartphone with great cameras, excellent display and fast charging.
