Features and Specifications of Xiaomi Mi Note 2
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will be available in three variants:
2- A 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage model priced at CNY 3,299, (Rs 32,562 INR)
3- The Global Edition with 6GB of RAM/ 128GB storage model priced at CNY 3,499. (Rs 34,536 INR approximately)
The third variant will also come equipped with the support for up to 37 LTE bands. It will be available in Piano Black and Glacial Silver colour variants, and an aluminium build.
Display and Processor
As its main highlight, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features a 5.7-inch OLED curved display on both sides with a 77.2 per cent screen-to-body ratio and a 110 per cent NSTC gamut. According to the company it has used a flexible display which is more expensive.
The Mi Note 2 is powered by a 2.35GHz quad-core Snapdragon 821 Performance Edition SoC processor. It houses a 4070mAh battery and a Quick Charge 3.0.
The Camera
The Mi Note 2 features a 22.56-megapixel rear camera with a Sony IMX318 Exmor RS sensor, an f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, and EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) with its own 3-axis gyroscope for 4K video stabilisation.
It has an 8-megapixel camera on the front with Sony IMX268 Exmor RS sensor, and an f/2.0 aperture, apart from a group selfie feature and Auto Beautify 3.0.
In China, Xiaomi’s Mi Note 2 users will also get to use Virtual SIM card function on their Mi Note 2. The function will provide constant internet connectivity to users travelling abroad in China.
