Last month we reported that Xiaomi is soon going to launch its new Mi Power Bank 3 Series with up to 10,000mAh and 20,000mAh capacities. However, the upcoming Mi Power Bank 3 with 20,000mAh capacity has now been leaked along with its full specs and black color. The leaked Mi Power Bank 3 looks like a premium version of the previously launched Mi power bank 2. I think there is another standard version that will be available in 10,000mAh capacity.
According to the leaked poster shared by a reliable Weibo user, the Mi Power Bank 3 with 20,000mAh capacity features a USB Type-C port that supports 45W fast charging and a dual USB-A port for the power output.
The single USB-A port support 5V/2.4A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A fast output and can provide up to 5V/3A output when used at the same time. The user can charge two devices at the same time. To recall, Xiaomi earlier last month launched an upgraded version of the 20000mAh Mi Power Bank priced at CNY 149 (roughly Rs. 1,451).
The new version seems to be a premium variant of the last month’s launch Mi power bank 2. In terms of design and size, there is no change. However, the new version does come with USB Type-C port instead of regular charging port like on the Mi power bank 2.
Price and Availability
According to Gizchina report, the Mi Power Bank 3 will be launched in China on January 11 and it will be priced at 199 Yuan (around Rs. 2,000 INR) which is Rs. 500 higher than the price of the Mi power bank 2.
