Fortnite Season 10 Will Require an Upgrade Graphic Card With DirectX 11 Support

According to a new announcement by Epic Games. Fortnite players who wish to play the upcoming Fortnite Season 10 on their PC will need to upgrade to a graphics card that supports Microsoft DirectX 11. Epic Games will drop support for the older graphics card that doesn’t support Microsoft DirectX 11.

Epic Games said that this will allow them to focus their development and testing efforts to further optimize the Fortnite experience for all players, this sounds logical. Players with a better graphics card with Direct X 11 or DirectX 12 support will definitely get a better gameplay experience on their PC than those who still using an older version of a graphics card.

Here is what Epic Games said in his blog post.

Starting with Season 10, the PC version of Fortnite will require a graphics card capable of running Microsoft DirectX 11.

While a DirectX 11-capable graphics card has always been one of Fortnite’s system requirements, we’ve kept support online for players with older graphics cards – so they could keep playing!

However, when Season 10 begins, Fortnite will no longer be compatible with these older graphics cards. This allows us to focus our development and testing efforts to further optimize the Fortnite experience for all players.

Epic Games

If you want a great gaming experience, then you must have to upgrade your graphics card. This will not only allow you to play a future version of Fortnite seasons but also any other high-end graphics game.

So, if you think you have some extra money to spend on your PC then I would say that you should upgrade your PC if you don’t want to mess around with the future games and game updates.

To recall, Fortnite Season 9 kicked off last month in May 2019 with the latest Fortnite 2.20 update on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
