Sega has officially announced Yakuza Kiwami 2, a remake of the original Yakuza 2 coming to Xbox One and Windows 10 and through Xbox Game Pass on July 30, 2020. Yakuza Kiwami 2 is currently available on PS4, PC (Steam), coming to Xbox One and Windows 10 on July 30, 2020.
Notably, Yakuza Kiwami 2 is the first Yakuza game coming to Xbox One & Windows 10 players featuring Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s powerful Dragon Engine. This is the same engine used in developing the Yakuza 6: The Song of Life.
The remake is said to feature vastly improved graphics and performance, as well as seamless transitions when entering and exiting buildings or combat.
