Mattshotcha, Lead Community Developer of Friday the 13th: The Game official forum today officially announced that private servers for Friday the 13th: The Game will finally shut down this month with the game’s final and the last patch set for a release this month, November 2020.
Now, Friday the 13th: The Game is finally going to receive its final and last patch update this month. A patch notes for the final patch update is also said to be released that will be available a week prior to the final patch going live.
According to the official forum post, the dedicated game servers will be decommissioned in the upcoming patch that will make the game revert back to peer to peer matchmaking for Quick Play lobbies.
Players of Friday the 13th: The Game will also need to go to the JasonKillsBugs.com support site for any assistance needed. The game will continue to be available for sale as well.
