Dying Light 2 Update Video Shows New Gameplay, Release Still Planned for 2021

After there was no new information about the action-horror game Dying Light 2 for a long time, those responsible now published a fresh video. Among other things, they ask for a little more patience.

At the end of last week, the developers at Techland promised a new update for their upcoming action-horror game Dying Light 2 for today. Those responsible kept their word and published, among others, a little over two and a half minutes long video, which you can watch as usual below in the article.

The short video message begins with some members of the development team reading messages to the community. This gave way to their anger and frustration over the long radio silence. The creators understand the impatience of the fans, but then emphasize that the game, which is still in active development, would be a very complex project. Because of this, it would have taken them more time for the game to live up to their vision.

In addition, it is said that Techland wants to develop with Dying Light 2 a game that the fans could play “for many months.” In addition, more information on the action-horror game is to be shared with the waiting players “very very soon.” Until then, the developers continue to ask for the trust and support of the community as it would inspire everyone involved in these challenging times. The team is proud to have such passionate fans, regardless of how they express their passion.

Finally, the message says that the fans should be patient “a little longer” and wait for the promised news soon. Following the message, there are also some new gameplay scenes that show, among other things, courses, fights, and a new type of infection. At the end of the video, it says 2021, which could indicate that the game should be released later this year.

Dying Light 2 is currently in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the PC. There is currently no official release date.
