Monster Hunter Wilds developers have announced a shift for the release date of the game’s upcoming content update Ver.1.021. The dev has announced the endgame content update version. 1.021 update will now be released earlier on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. This content was originally planned for Title Update 3 in late September but is now coming ahead of its previous schedule date.

The Ver.1.021 update will include some cool new features. Players can look forward to a new level of quest difficulty to challenge their skills. There’s also a new rewards system with Talismans that have random skill combinations, adding more variety to the game.

The update will also bring weapon balance adjustments, covering more weapons than first planned. Plus, there will be other improvements and tweaks to make the game even better.

This change means the update is shifting slightly from its early August target to mid-August. More details about the update will be shared soon, so stay tuned.

The team thanks players for their patience as they work hard to get everything ready. This early release is a nice surprise for fans eager to dive into more content!
