A new graphics card from China, called the Moore Threads S90, is making waves by matching up to NVIDIA’s RTX 4060 in recent tests. These tests show how well the cards handle games and other tasks, and the results are exciting for gamers.

In a popular test called 3DMark Steel Nomad, the S90 scored 2,567 points, beating the RTX 4060’s 2,340. In another test, Unigine Valley, the S90 got 1,467 points compared to the RTX 4060’s 1,111. However, the RTX 4060 did better in a test called Fire Strike Ultra, scoring 5,863 while the S90 got 5,210. In a Chinese test called Ludashi, the S90 scored 420,000 points, just above the RTX 4060’s 400,000.

When it comes to real gaming, the S90 was tested with a game called Naraka: Bladepoint at high settings in 4K resolution. The S90 managed 43 frames per second, just one frame better than the RTX 4060’s 42. That’s super close, but it shows the S90 can keep up.

The S90 is built with the same tech as Moore Threads’ MTT S4000, a card made for work tasks, but it’s been tweaked for gaming. The big improvement comes from better software, which has boosted performance a lot compared to older Moore Threads cards. Some say there’s still room to make it even better with future updates.

This is a big deal because Chinese graphics cards haven’t always competed well with brands like NVIDIA. But with these results, Moore Threads is showing they’re serious about gaming. If they keep improving and sell the S90 at a good price, it could shake things up for gamers looking for new options.
