OPPO has launched the K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro in China, two gaming-focused smartphones packed with powerful hardware and unique features. These devices, which hit the market on July 25, 2025, are designed for gamers and power users, boasting the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip in the Pro model, a massive 7000mAh battery, and a built-in active cooling fan. Here’s a simple breakdown of their specs, features, and pricing.

Powerful Performance

The OPPO K13 Turbo Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, a 4nm chip with an octa-core CPU (1x Cortex-X4 at 3.21 GHz, 3x Cortex-A720 at 3.0 GHz, 2x Cortex-A720 at 2.8 GHz, and 2x Cortex-A520 at 2.0 GHz) and an Adreno 825 GPU.

This setup delivers top-tier performance, with an AnTuTu score of 2.45 million, making it ideal for gaming and multitasking. The standard K13 Turbo uses the MediaTek Dimensity 8450, a slightly less powerful but still capable 4nm chip with a Mali-G720 MC7 GPU, suitable for heavy tasks.

Both phones come with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of storage (UFS 4.0 for the Pro, UFS 3.1 for the Turbo), ensuring fast app launches and smooth gameplay. They run on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 for a modern, user-friendly experience.

Built for Gaming with Active Cooling

A standout feature is the built-in active cooling fan, a first for OPPO phones. This micro centrifugal fan spins at up to 18,000 RPM, paired with a 7,000mm² vapor chamber and graphite gel cooling, boosting heat dissipation by 20%.

The fan keeps temperatures low during long gaming sessions, with tests showing the Turbo Pro at 42.2°C and the Turbo at 43.3°C after three hours of MOBA gaming at 120 FPS. The Pro model adds RGB lighting to the fan for a flashy gaming vibe, while the Turbo has a fluorescent ring that glows in the dark.

Remarkably, both phones maintain IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 water resistance, making them the first smartphones with active cooling fans to offer such durability. OPPO’s sealed design with specialized gaskets ensures water doesn’t enter the fan or internal components, allowing the phones to withstand splashes, submersion, and even hot water jets.

Massive Battery and Fast Charging

Both models pack a 7000mAh battery, one of the largest in smartphones, designed to last up to five years with over 80% capacity retention. This supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, reaching 68% in 30 minutes and a full charge in 54 minutes. Bypass charging is also included, letting the phone run off wall power during gaming to reduce battery wear.

Vibrant Display

The K13 Turbo and Turbo Pro feature a 6.8-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 2800 x 1280 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate (144Hz on the Pro), and 240Hz touch sampling rate for smooth visuals and responsive controls.

The screen peaks at 1600 nits for clear visibility in bright light and supports 10-bit colors for vibrant graphics. It’s protected by OPPO’s Crystal Shield Glass and includes an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Cameras for Everyday Use

Both phones have a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor (with optical image stabilization on the Pro for better low-light shots and video) and a 2MP secondary sensor. The 16MP front camera handles selfies and video calls, with the Pro supporting 4K time-lapse recording. While not the focus, the cameras are solid for casual photography and content creation.

Additional Features

  • Design: The phones have a plastic middle frame with a glass back and a 3D metal-cut texture. They weigh 208g and measure 162.8 x 77.2 x 7.3 mm.
  • Connectivity: Dual nano-SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 7 (Pro) or Wi-Fi 6 (Turbo), Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, IR blaster, and USB-C.
  • Extras: X-axis linear motor for haptic feedback, dual stereo speakers, and a Super Cooling Kit accessory (magnetic liquid-cooling case and 27W TEC back clip) for extra cooling, priced at $41–$48.
