ASUS has announced the ProArt PA32UCE, a new 31.5-inch 4K monitor for video editors, colorists, and creators, at IBC 2024. It comes with a built-in self-calibration feature and is now available for purchase. Here’s a simple look at its features, price, and release details.

The ProArt PA32UCE is designed for professional work, offering sharp 4K visuals with a 10-bit IPS panel that shows over 1 billion colors. It covers 98% of the DCI-P3 color range, making colors vivid and accurate, with a Delta E less than 1 for top-notch color precision.

Its 600 nits brightness and support for HDR formats like HDR-10 and HLG make it great for editing high-quality videos.

What makes this monitor special is its built-in motorized colorimeter, which pops out to automatically calibrate the screen for perfect colors without extra tools.

It also has LuxPixel technology with an anti-glare, low-reflection coating to reduce distractions, and Light Sync, which adjusts brightness and color based on room lighting for consistent visuals. An ambient light sensor helps keep colors true even if the room’s lighting changes.

For connectivity, it has a USB-C port with 96W power delivery to charge devices, plus DisplayPort, HDMI, and a USB hub.

The Auto KVM feature lets you control two devices with one keyboard and mouse, saving desk space. The stand adjusts for tilt, swivel, pivot, and height, and a hood is included to block reflections.

Price

The monitor is priced at $1,199 and is available now through ASUS’s official website and retailers like Amazon.

It’s a more affordable option compared to other ProArt models, though it uses a standard LED backlight instead of mini-LED and has a 60Hz refresh rate, which is fine for editing but not ideal for gaming.

Check out ASUS’s website or the product page for more details. Get ready to create with this high-quality monitor
