LG has launched the CineBeam S Mini (model PU615U), its smallest 4K Ultra Short Throw (UST) projector. Announced at CES 2025, it’s now rolling out globally. Here are its features, price, and availability date.
CineBeam S Mini 4K Projector Features and Specs
The CineBeam S Mini is tiny, measuring just 4.3 x 6.3 x 6.3 inches and weighing 1.9 kilograms, making it easy to carry or place on a shelf. Despite its small size, it delivers sharp 4K UHD (3,840 x 2,160) images with 500 ANSI lumens brightness and a 450,000:1 contrast ratio for clear, vivid visuals.
It covers 154% of the DCI-P3 color range, ensuring rich, lifelike colors, and supports HDR-10 and HLG for better picture quality. Its UST design projects images from 40 to 100 inches, needing only 8.1 cm for a 40-inch screen or 39.3 cm for a 100-inch screen, ideal for small spaces.
The projector runs on LG’s webOS platform, letting you stream shows from apps like Netflix, Disney+, and YouTube. It has one HDMI port, two USB Type-C ports, and wireless options like AirPlay 2 and Screen Share for connecting phones or laptops.
Setup is easy with Auto Screen Adjustment for aligning images, Screen Scaling & Shifting for fine-tuning without moving the projector, and Wall Color Adjustment for non-white surfaces.
It also features built-in stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos for immersive sound and comes with a sleek remote or can be controlled via the LG ThinQ app.
