Xiaomi has announced that it will launch its new Xiaomi Mi Watch Color in China on January 3. Xiaomi via its official Mijia Weibo account shared a short teaser video s well as a poster image showing off the Xiaomi Mi Watch Color. The 0:36 seconds teaser video reveals that the Xiaomi Mi Watch Color will be equipped with features like heart rate sensor, sleep monitoring, fitness tracking, and more.
The video also reveals that the watch will come in four different dial colour options, and straps. Xiaomi hasn’t officially confirmed any specs or feature details of the Mi Watch Color yet. However, a tipster on Weibo has shared two images of the retails box of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Watch Color.
As we can see above, the image shows the backside of the retail box which reveals the key features of the watch. The retail box shows that the Xiaomi Mi Watch Color to come with a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels.
The package further reveals that the Xiaomi Mi Watch Color features a 46mm diameter, packs a 420mah battery, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0 and will also be 5ATM waterproof, that means that the watch can go underwater up to a depth of 50 metres for a span of 10 minutes.
The watch also features GPS with GLONASS and will be compatible with phones running Android 4.4 KitKat or a higher version. Additionally, the package reveals the watch to come with the swim-tracking feature.
The Xiaomi Mi Watch Color will launch in China on January 3.
