The much-awaited Redmi Note 8 Pro MIUI 12 is now started rolling out for users in India. The latest update is rolling with MIUI 12 V12.0.1.0 for the Redmi Note 8 Pro in India. The update is rolling via OTA so you should receive the update notification on your phone.
If you didn’t receive the update notification yet, then you can check and download the update manually by following the steps below.
How to Update MIUI 12 V12.0.1.0 on the Redmi Note 8 Pro
- Go to Settings
- About phone
- System update
- Click on download and update your device.
To recall, Xiaomi announced the MIUI 12 rollout schedule for India earlier this month that starting the Mi 10, Redmi Note 9/ Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi Note 8/ Redmi Note 8 Pro and Redmi Note 7/ Redmi Note 7 Pro for this month.
Now, Redmi Note 8 Pro can finally update to the latest version of MIUI 12, while users of the Redmi Note 8 which is currently has MIUI 11 with Android 9 are still waiting for the update.
Notably, the MIUI 12 update is also said to be available to more Xiaomi devices in India soon in the coming weeks.
