Google introduced Android One back in 2014 to bring a cleaner and smoother Android experience to its users across the world. However, for several reasons, Google failed to turn out the Android One Program into success. Xiaomi Mi A1
Xiaomi Mi A1 is one of the best Android One smartphones which comes under Rs. 15,000 price tag. The Xiaomi Mi A1 comes with a full metallic body and nice looking design. It sports a 5.5-inch Full HD panel, Snapdragon 625 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, it sports dual 12MP cameras with a dedicated zoom lens that provides for up to 2x optical zoom, it also includes Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 4.2, and a 3080mAh battery.

Xiaomi Mi A1

If you want to buy the Xiaomi Mi A1 the smartphone is currently selling via Flipkart at Rs. 13,999 which I think is the best price for such a beautifully designed Android One smartphone the Mi A1.

Motorola Moto X4
Motorola Moto X4 is a newly launched Android One smartphone from Motorola. The Moto X4 is also the first device after the Pixel and the Nexus devices which have been officially certified to work with Google’s Project Fi. The Moto X4 also packs great software and hardware specs for its price.

The Moto X4 comes with a 5.2-inch Full HD display protected by Gorilla Glass 3, It comes with Snapdragon 630 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It sports dual 12MP + 8MP rear cameras at the back along with a 16MP front shooter. The phone also comes with IP68 certification so you don’t have worry if it gets into the water. The device packs a 3000mAh battery.

The Moto X4 32GB Super Black variant is currently selling via Flipkart in India at Rs. 20,999 and the Sterling Blue variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage is currently selling at Rs. 22,999.

HTC U11 Life
HTC U11 Life is another great Android One smartphone on this list. There isn’t much difference in terms of specs when we compare it with the Moto X4. HTC U11 Life features almost the same specs as the Moto X4 in terms of Display, RAM, Processor, and the Storage but for the camera, you don’t get dual cameras on the HTC U11 Life which comes with a single 16MP shooter at the back and a 16MP camera on the front as well.

Another notable feature of the HTC U11 Life is the Edge Sense, a squeezable frame that lets you launch the camera or Google Assistant by just pressing down on the sides of the phone.

Other specs include a smaller 2600mAh battery and the phone doesn’t have a 3.5mm jack. However, you do get HTC’s USonic earbuds bundled in the box though. The HTC U11 Life comes with a price tag of $349 (Rs. 22,363).

Sharp S3
This one is the most recently launched Android One smartphone from Sharp. The Sharp S3 can be found listed on company’s Japanese website. The handset is priced at JPY 32,400 (roughly Rs. 19,000). The Sharp S3 is now available to buy via Japanese carrier Y! Mobile. The Sharp S3 comes with four color variants – Turquoise, Navy Black, White, and Pink but what Sharp has missed here is the Fingerprint scanner which you will with almost every similarly priced Android smartphone.

The specs include a 5-inch full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) IGZO display and the device is powered by Qualcomm octa-core Snapdragon 430 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage.

The S3 runs Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. On the camera front, the phone sports a 13.1-megapixel rear camera. There’s also a 5-megapixel front camera on board. Sharp promises vivid images with the S-Pure LED backlighting of the display.

The Japanese carrier Y!Mobile also has other lineup of Android One smartphones including Sharp’s X1 and S1, Kyocera’s S2, and the HTC X2.

General Mobile 4G
General Mobile 4G was made by a Turkish mobile manufacturer, the company announced General Mobile 4G back in 2015. The Manufacturer has three smartphone line up other than this, the GM6, GM5, and the GM 5 Plus.

The GM5 and GM5 Plus were launched running the Snapdragon 617, with a 5-inch 720p display and later it came with a 5.5-inch Full HD display. On the hand, the GM6 features MediaTek’s octa-core MT6737T chipset and has 3GB of RAM/32GB of storage, 13MP rear camera, 8MP front shooter, and a 3000mAh battery. Now all three devices have received the Oreo update.
