Samsung has now finally launched its first quad camera setup phone the Galaxy A9 (2018) in India. The phone was first launched last month in Malaysia. As its biggest highlight, the Galaxy A9 (2018) comes with the world’s first quad (four) camera setup. There is an ultra-wide main sensor, a telephoto lens with a 2x optical zoom, a 24-megapixel resolution sensor and a depth camera sensor with 5-megapixel resolution.
The Galaxy A9 (2018) has been priced in India Rs. 36,990 for the 6GB RAM variant, while the 8GB RAM model has been priced at Rs. 39,990. Both variants come with 128GB of internal storage with expandable storage up to 512GB via micro SD card.
The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) will go on sale in India starting November 28 via various online and offline retails stores in Bubblegum Pink, Caviar Black, and Lemonade Blue color options.
As I told above, the Quad camera set up on the new Galaxy A9 (2018) if the main key highlight of the device, however, as for its other key specs the Galaxy A9 comes with a 6.28-inch Super AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution. The device runs on Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box with Samsung’s own TouchWiz UI on top.
It is powered by a Snapdragon 660 SoC and comes in coupled with 6GB and 8GB RAM options. There is also a 3.5mm headphone jack and Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C and NFC other connectivity options.
