Back in November this year in Shenzhen China, Oppo released its latest ColorOS 6.0. Oppo also showcased several features of its latest UI at the launch with the promise to release the new OS by 2019 next year. However, in a surprising move today, Oppo has finally released the very first public beta version of its Android-based operating system ColorOS 6.0 for the OPPO R15 Dream Mirror Edition.
It seems like Oppo has skipped the ColorOS 5.2 for the OPPO R15 Dream Mirror Edition and now its finally released the ColorOS 6.0 for OPPO R15 users.
Oppo via its official ColorOS Weibo account today made the announcement of the update. The post said that owners of the OPPO R15 Dream Mirror Edition can now check to install the public beta of the ColorOS 6 by going to Settings > Software update.
The update will be rolling out in batches so it might take few more days to reach on your device. However, Oppo didn’t share any changelog of the current update, we so can’t share the list of the features and the enhancements which have been provided in this public beta release of the ColorOS 6.
ColorOS 6.0 Features
The new ColorOS 6.0 comes with revamped UI interface with various light color background schemes. It offers a better navigation experience on a larger screen displays with a large number of lightweight, elegant, and rhythmic color systems.
The new ColorOS 6 also ads new font scheme called the Oppo Sans for typing anything on the device. The new OS also features new Animations on the lock screen of the device and also brings a new AI application that will analyze app activity on your device for 15 days to learn user habits. The feature will then freeze apps in the background, instead of closing them.
