Essential, was the first company to introduced the Notch on its Essential Phone aka PH-1 smartphone. The phone was also one of the first devices to receive the Google latest Android 9 Pie update. However, the phone which is sold for over a year and a half now seems to be going out of stock everywhere and won’t come back in the market again.

DroidLife reports that Essential Phone has gone out of stock over every other online store including Amazon and the Essential shop last week. The report states that the Essential Phone has also gone out of stock from the Best Buy website, that sold the sprint model. However, after doing a check on the sprint site for the phone we didn’t find the Essential Phone listed on the sprint site as well.

This might be bad news for users who loved Essential phone from the start, but luckily, a report from 9to5google has hinted that there would be another Essential phone soon.

According to the report, an Essential spokesperson said: “We are sold out of Essential Phone on essential.com and won’t be adding any new inventory”. “We are now hard at work on our next mobile product and will continue to sell accessories and provide speedy software updates and customer support to our existing community.”

The comment seems to be a good sign for users who might get disappointed by this news. As said, existing Essential users can expect the same software updates and customer support as before and can also continue buying the accessories from the Essential website.
