Lenovo on Tuesday launched its two new smartphones the Lenovo Z5s and Lenovo Z5 Pro GT in China. The Lenovo Z5s is a mid-range smartphone that comes with waterdrop Notch and dual rear cameras as its main key features. On the other hand, the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT comes with a slider mechanism, where you can slide down the display to open up the front cameras and sensors.

As its biggest key highlight, the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT comes with Snapdragon 855 SoC, a massive 12GB RAM coupled with 512GB of internal storage.

Specifications of the devices

The mid-range Lenovo Z5s comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 octa-core chipset with 2.2GHz of speed. The phone also targets gamers that’s why the device comes with Adreno 616 GPU and Game Turbo technology. It runs on Android Oreo with ZUI 10 skin on top.

It features a 6.3-inch 1080×2340 resolution display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and 450nits peak brightness. The phone comes in two storage and RAM variants including, 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage variants.

The storage can be expanded further using a hybrid microSD card slot (up to 256GB). The phone also comes with dual stereo speakers and has a P2i nano anti-splatter coating to be safe from water.

For the camera, the Lenovo Z5s sports a triple camera setup, including a 16-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 5-megapixel sensor.

On the front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie sensor that comes with features like digital zoom, beauty filters, and more. The device packs a 3,300mAh battery and includes connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack, 4G VoLTE, GPS, etc.

Lenovo Z5s Pricing and Availability

The Lenovo Z5s price starts from CNY 1,398 (around INR 14,400) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. The 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant costs CNY 1,598 (roughly Rs. 16,400), while the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage has been priced at CNY 1,898 (around INR 19,500).

The company has also launched a limited edition model of Lenovo Z5s, which comes with a price tag of CNY 1998 (around INR 20,400) with laser engraving signature of Chinese actor Zhu Yilong.

Lenovo Z5 Pro GT Specifications

The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT comes with running on latest Android 9.0 Pie and this is the world’s first device to come with Snapdragon 855 SoC and 12GB of RAM. The phone comes in four different storage and RAM variants, which includes, 6GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GBRAM/512GB storage variant.

The device features a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED display based on slider mechanism with 1080×2340 resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT is powered by a Snapdragon 855 processor based on a 7nm process technology.

The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT has dual front and rear camera setups, with a 16-megapixel Sony IMX519 sensor and a 24-megapixel Sony IMX576 sensor. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor. The device packs a 3,350mAh battery and comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Lenovo Z5 Pro GT Pricing and Availability

The 6GB/128GB storage variant of Lenovo Z5 Pro GT comes at a price tag of CNY 2,698 (around INR 27,700). The 8GB/128GB storage variant has been priced at CNY 2,998 (around INR 30,800).

On the other hand, 8GB/256GB storage variant costs CNY 3,398 (around INR 41,100), while the top-of-the-line model having 12GB RAM and 512GB storage has been priced at CNY 4,398 (roughly INR 45,100). The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT will go on sale starting January 24.
