If you were waiting to test out Samsun’s latest One UI based on Android 9 Pie on your Galaxy S9 device then here is a good news for you. According to SamMobile report, One UI Based on Android Pie Beta Program is now rolling out to Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ users in India. So, if you are a Galaxy S9 or Galaxy S9+ user then you can now register for the One UI based Android Pie beta program.

According to the report, the update comes with software version G960FXXU2ZRL5 and G965FXXU2ZRL5 for the S9 and S9+ and also includes the December 2018 security patch. As per the screenshot provided in the post, the update weighs around 1.8GB in size so make sure you that enough space remaining on your device before start updating.

The beta program update is rolling out via OTA update so it might take few more days to arrive on your device. However, if you have already enroolled into the beta program and can’t wait for the OTA to arrive, then you can simply check for the update many by heading to your phone’s settings page, which you can find under your phone’s Settings > Software Update > Download Updates Manually.

If you haven’t register for the beta yet and want to get registered now then you can simply open Samsung’s Mmebers app on your device. Now tap on the option which says Registrations Open for One UI Beta Program and then tap on the large image on the next screen, then hit the Registration button at the bottom and agree to the terms and conditions to finish registration.

Now you have successfully registered for the One UI beta program. Now you can download and install the One UI based on Android 9 Pie beta by heading to your phone’s Software update in the settings menu of the phone and Download updates manually.
