Apple’s AirPower wireless charging mat was long rumored to be in works. But there was no evident to that until today. Now we finally have a new report from ChargerLab via its Twitter account. The report claims, that Apple AirPower is finally coming. The source also cited that the manufacturer Luxshare Precision is taking care of the production of AirPower, that means, Apple AirPower wireless charging mat is now in works.
UPDATE: According to another source obtained by ChargerLab, Pegatron who is another Apple OEM in Asia is set to start mass produce AirPower starting Jan 21. AirPower has total three layers of coils in 8-7-7 configuration from bottom to top.

ChargerLab claims that they got the info from a “credible source in the supply chain”, who told them that the Apple AirPower wireless charging mat is finally in development. However, Apple is yet to confirm that the company is really working on the AirPower wireless charging mat.
In the Tweet above, we can also see the conversation made with the source which revealed the production of the AirPower mat. Luxshare is the company who has been taking care of the production of Apple AirPods and USB-C cables for the company.
