Honor 8A launch has been confirmed. The device will be launched in China on January 8. The new Honor 8A is a successor to the budget smartphone Honor 7A which was launched in China back in April last year. Honor via its official Weibo account teased the launch of its new Honor 8A device. As the shared poster suggests, the upcoming Honor 8A will be available with up to 64GB of internal storage and an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
The device recently appeared on TENAA which had revealed that the device could be coming with running on Android Pie out of the box. The listing also revealed that upcoming Honor 8A will feature a waterdrop Notch.
However, the teaser poster shared by Honor reveals the presence of dual stereo speakers, which is shown placed beneath the building.

The Honor 8A is expected to come with a 6.08-inch HD+ (720×1560 pixels) LCD panel and it will be powered by an octa-core 2.2GHz SoC, coupled with 3GB RAM.
The phone is most likely to feature an 8-megapixel selfie camera, while on the front there would be a 13 Megapixel sensor. The TENAA listing also suggests that the phone would come in 32GB and 64GB inbuilt storage options that can be expanded to 512GB via microSD card.
The phone will house a 2,920mAh battery and could be available in four color options of Black, Blue, Gold, and Red.
