Honor View 20 Launching in India on January 29, Media Invite Confirms

Honor View 20 launched in China last month and later Honor teased its availability for the Indian market by sharing a teaser poster last month on its official Twitter account. The teaser last month revealed that the Honor View 20 will be launched as Amazon exclusive and later its product page also vent live on Amazon. Now its final launch date has been confirmed by the media invite sent out earlier today.

According to the media invite sent out today, Honor will launch the Honor View 20 in India at an event scheduled on January 29. The honor will also be launching the device in Paris a week before India launch on January 22.

Specifications of the Honor View 20

As its main key highlights, the Honor View 20 comes with 48-megapixel rear camera setup and a 24-megapixel punch-hole selfie camera at the front. The Honor View 20 is powered by world’s first 7nm Kirin 980 SoC.

It runs Android 9 Pie-based EMUI 9 and comes with dual SIM support. The Honor View 20 comes in three different storage and RAM variants including, 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB. The Honor V20 comes with bigger 4,000mAh battery and a fingerprint sensor at the back.

There is also a special edition of the Honor View 20, that comes with 8GB and 256GB storage. However, we are not sure whether Honor will launch the special edition in India or not.

Honor V20 Price in India

For the price of the Honor V20 in India, it is not yet confirmed that how much the device would actually cost. However, in China, the device has been priced at CNY 2,999, around (Rs. 35,000 INR) for the base 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. On the other hand, the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant priced to CNY 3,499, around (Rs. 35,800).

For the Indian market, we expect the price of the Honor View 20 slightly cheaper than the in price China.
