Samsung Launches Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 in India with Infinity-V displays, Face Unlock and More

After weeks of teasing, Samsung on Monday finally launched its two new budget smartphones in India called the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20. The two devices are the first device launched under Samsung’s M series. Now let’s talk about the design, specs, price, and availability of the Galaxy M10 and M20. The highlight of the two device includes the Infinity-V Display on both devices as well as dual rear camera setups. The Galaxy M20 also comes with a face unlock feature and pack up to 5,000mAh battery. However, users will miss Samsung’s latest One UI based on Android 9 Pie on the two devices, instead, Samsung has given a custom skin powered by Android 8.1 Oreo on its Samsung M series of phones.

Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 Specifications

Now lets first start with the Samsung Galaxy M10 specs, the device runs Android 8.1 Oreo on top of Samsung Experience 9.5 UX. It features a 6.2-inch HD+ (720×1520 pixels) Infinity-V Display with 19:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by an Exynos 7870 SoC, coupled with 2GB, 3GB RAM. It comes in 6GB and 32GB of internal storage option that also supports expandable storage (up to 512GB).

Both the Galaxy M 10 and M20 comes with a dual rear camera setup, where the Galaxy M10 includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.9 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary, ultra-wide sensor. The smartphone features a 5-megapixel sensor at the front. The smartphone also comes with an ultra-wide mode to take landscapes, cityscapes, and group photos.

There is a 3,400mAh battery to power the device. Sadly, there is no fingerprint sensor given on the Galaxy M10.

Samsung Galaxy M20 specifications

The Samsung Galaxy M20 on the other hand also runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based on Samsung Experience 9.5 UX, but it features a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) Infinity-V Display along with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by an Exynos 7904 SoC, coupled with 3GB and 4GB RAM options and Mali-G71 MP2 GPU.

The device features a 13-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.9 aperture and a 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. There is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with an f/2.0 aperture at the front.

The Galaxy M20 also comes in two storage options including 32GB and 64GB both of which are expandable via microSD card (up to 512GB). The device also features a fingerprint sensor at the back and face unlock feature. The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports fast charging through USB Type-C.

Samsung Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20 Price and Availability in India

The Samsung Galaxy M10 price in India starts at Rs. 7,990 for the 2GB RAM/ 16GB storage variant, while the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage model is priced at Rs. 8,990. The Galaxy M20, on the other hand, has also been priced pretty well, it is priced at Rs. 10,990 for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage, while its 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage version will go on sale at Rs. 12,990.

Both Samsung Galaxy M10 and M20 models will go on sale via Amazon.in and Samsung India e-Store starting February 5 in Charcoal Black and Ocean Blue color options.
