Back in December, Xiaomi’s Co-founder and President Lin Bin shared a new image of the upcoming Xiaomi device (Xiaomi Mi 9), confirming that Xiaomi will launch its new smartphone with 48-megapixel. The shared image had suggested that the smartphone will come with a vertically staged triple rear camera setup with LED flashlight.
However, now a new image of a Xiaomi device which allegedly claims to be Xiaomi’s upcoming Mi 9 has been leaked over Chinese social media site Weibo via reliable Twitter source @bang_gogo_.
The alleged Xiaomi Mi 9 device this time have appeared in the hands Xiaomi’s product director Wang Teng. However, the device is in blue color and has a glossy back finish. The image didn’t reveal any other details about the device alleged Xiaomi device.
Earlier this last month a new device was popped up on the on the Geekbench named as Xiaomi Cepheus. The device was supposed to be Xiaomi’s upcoming Mi 9 device which was appeared with 6GB RAM, SD855 running on Android 9 Pie.
Going by the previous report, the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 9 will come equipped with 32w Quick Charge 4.0. The phone will feature a design similar to the OnePlus 6T and will come with a 6.4-inch AMOLED Notched display and will also feature a waterdrop Notch, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and full HD+ resolution.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 also expected to come to an in-display fingerprint sensor and will measure 155 x 75 x 7.6mm. Additionally, the handset will be fueled by a 3,500mAh battery with 32W fast charging support.
Now talking about the cameras, the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 9 is expected to come with a triple rear camera setup. However, the leaks have revealed that the Mi 9 would come with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor and a 12-megapixel secondary sensor with a 3D ToF (Time of Flight) camera.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 is said to carry a price tag of 2,999 Yuan (around $436) for the 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of inbuilt storage. The leak has claimed that the phone will be released in March.
