Asus Launches Zenfone Max Shot and Zenfone Max Plus M2 in Brazil

Asus has silently launched its two new smartphones called, the Zenfone Max Shot and Zenfone Max Plus M2 in Brazil. The two phones are most notably the first phone to come in with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon SiP 1 Octa Core processor. Design wise, Zenfone Max Shot and Zenfone Max Plus M2 look identical to each other. Both feature a display with a notch, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and 4,000 mAh battery. Now let’s quickly have a look at the specifications, price, and availability of the Zenfone Max Shot and Zenfone Max Plus M2.

Zenfone Max Shot and Zenfone Max Plus M2 Specifications

Both the Zenfone Max Shot and Zenfone Max Plus M2 are almost identical to each other in terms of design and most of the hardware. Both the smartphone features a 6.26-inch FHD+ notched IPS displays and are powered by a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon SiP 1 Octa-Core processor.

The Max Plus M2 will only available in a single 3GB RAM and 32GB storage option, while the Max Shot will be available in 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage. Both models also support dual sim with a micro SD slot.

In the camera departments, The Max Shot features a 12 MP regular, 8 MP wide angle and 5 MP depth sensor camera setup, while the Max Plus M2 features a 12 MP main camera and dual 5MP depth sensor camera. On the front, the two offer phones offer 8MP cameras with LED flash.

Both the smartphones come with a 4,000 mAh battery and running on Stock Android 8.1 Oreo. The two phones are also promised to get the latest Android 9 Pie update soon.

Zenfone Max Shot and Zenfone Max Plus M2 Price and Availability

Zenfone Max Shot will start at BRL 1,349, which is around Rs. 25,000 INR, ($350) and go up to BRL 1,699 ($445), while the Zenfone Max Plus M2 has been priced at BRL 1,299, which makes it around Rs. 24,000 INR, ($340). Both phones are now available on the Asus Brazil website and come in silver, black, blue and red color options.

There are no details available for the availability of the two devices in other markets including India as of now.
